Jon Boat Rentals
Explore the White River using our jon boats! Should you choose to fish on your own, we have well maintained, fully outfitted fiberglass jon boats for rent at our covered dock. Boat rentals can be half or full days.

Bank Fishing
Rainbow Drive Resort has one of the largest bank fishing access spots in the area. We encourage all our guests to move up and down our banks, because you never know where you might reel in the Big One.
A fishing license and trout stamp are required for everyone 16 years and older who fish the waters of the White River. You can purchase these online on the Arkansas Game & Fish Website. If you would prefer, we will be happy to assist with this in our office.

Our Guides
We always recommend a guide if you’ve never fished the river before. This ensures a great first experience on our waters. You are guaranteed to catch fish and learn how to safely fish the river. We are proud of our guides and confident in their abilities to help you catch more trout, catch bigger trout, and have a fantastic time. To ensure action-packed trout fishing, our guides have the flexibility to fish where they think the hottest fishing is going to be that particular day and with the specific baits of their choosing.
Our professional office staff is able to match your skill level to the guide that will best meet your needs. Our guides are experts at fishing with young, first time anglers up to the most experienced pros. For your convenience and to ensure your safety, all guided trips must be reserved through our office.
Your guide trip includes 4 (half) or 8 (full) hours of fishing, continental breakfast, a refreshment cooler, a deli lunch (full only), natural bait, hooks & sinkers, 1 scented bait per boat, rod & reels, and your boat, motor, and guide. At the end of your trip, your fish will be cleaned and bagged upon request.

*Guide Trip Pricing is Per Boat, Per Day, and requires a $150 deposit at the time of booking. Cancellations received 14 days or less prior to your scheduled trip will be charged for the full amount of the guided fishing trip. Guide trips will go out in all weather conditions, but will pause briefly during thunderstorms to ensure safety. Guests who are staying on property receive a discounted rate. We are happy to book our guides with guests who are not staying with us at Walk Up rates.

Jon boat & motor rentals
We have a full service dock with 20’ jon boat rentals and Mercury outboard motors available for half and full day excursions. These rentals are available to our guests at a discounted rate, but we do also offer these to White River fisherman who live locally or are staying elsewhere in our beautiful area. Boat rentals are priced for either three person or four person boats and include: motor, seats, up to three gallons of fuel, a live well, dip net, and life jackets. Our dock staff will cover river safety and proper motor operations to ensure a great day on the river. They will also be happy to help with bait advice and even clean your legal catch for you upon your return. Boats can depart from our dock as early as 7:30am and return times vary depending on half or full day rental as well as sunset.

The White River record Brown Trout was caught from the river bank at Rainbow Drive Resort on February 27, 2015 by Calvin Johnston.
Calvin landed this 38-pound, 7-ounce, 36 1/2 inch brown wading from the river bank at Rainbow Drive Resort fishing the Rainbow Hole, which is located in front of Rainbow Drive Resort using a bass rod with 15 pound test line and a Mepps Comet Mino Spinner.
