Policies & Procedures


Our Resort
is located on the banks of the White River. Each cabin has a perfect view of the river and is only 75 feet from the river’s edge. All accommodations are fully furnished with linens, towels, paper goods, hair dryers, irons & ironing boards. All kitchens have coffee makers, toasters, microwaves, appliances, and are completely stocked with pots and pans, cooking utensils, cutlery, table service, dish towels, dish soap, spice racks, aluminum foil, and plastic wrap. All cabins have satellite TVs and WI-FI High-Speed Internet. Barbecue grills are just outside each cabin’s screen porch that overlooks the river.


Our Promise promise to our guests is to provide immaculately clean and comfortable accommodations, competent and courteous, licensed and insured guides,well maintained and reliable equipment and of course, the best southern hospitality available. It is our pleasure to make your visit to the resort a most memorable and relaxing experience.

Reservations

Our policies are designed with the wellbeing of our guests, staff, and business in mind. We heavily rely on reservations being made in advance. 

A credit/debit card deposit is required to make a booking. These deposits will be charged immediately upon making your reservation. Cabins 1, 3, 4, 5, & 6 require a $75.00 deposit. Cabin 2, Small Lodge, Penthouse, and Riverhouse 1 require a $150.00 deposit. Large Lodge and Riverhouse 2 require a $250.00 deposit. Our camper cabins and RV sites both require a $25.00 deposit to make a booking. Our cancellation policy applies to all reservations, even in the event of inclement weather and/or early departures. Deposits are non-refundable.


Cancellations

  • Cancellations made two weeks prior to the date of arrival will be charged 50% of the reservation. 
  • All cancellations made one week prior to the date of arrival will be charged the entire reservation. 

If you have to cancel your reservation, we will do everything in our effort to rebook your room; if we are able to rebook your accommodations, your deposit can be used for another reservation at Rainbow Drive Resort within the calendar year. 


Weekend & Holiday Minimums: Friday and Saturday bookings require a two (2) night minimum stay. Holiday bookings require a three (3) night minimum stay and all three (3) nights will be charged at our holiday/weekend rates.


Catch & Release: We strongly support the Catch & Release Program and are passionate about preserving the fishing industry. We ask that all trophy trout (24” or larger) caught by our guests are treated with care and released after weighing in and obtaining photographs. 


Bringing Your Own Boat: We urge you to use the free Wildcat Shoals public access launch only 1 mile down the road. Our launch is for resort guests only, has a $40 in and out fee, and requires an insurance waiver to be signed. If you are wanting to tie your boat off our dock, there is a $25 fee per night. Your boat will not be covered, and an insurance waiver must be completed. 


Special Requests: Rollaway beds, air mattresses, baby cribs, and high chairs will gladly be placed in your cabin prior to your arrival (subject to availability) for a one-time use fee of $15 per item. 


Fishing Equipment: We have rod/reel rentals available in the office. We recommend that you bring your own if you have a medium weight rod. Although we have a shop on the premises for all your bait & tackle needs, we do not have waders available for rental. You will need to bring your own if you plan to wade fish.


Day Visitors:  There is a $10 per person charge for day visitors to the resort. Each visitor must register and sign a waiver at the office. No visiting pets allowed.


Resort Pets: Pets under 45 pounds are allowed in all accommodations. There is a 2 pet limit in the larger cabins/houses and a 1 pet limit in studio cabins. There will be a non-refundable $75.00 fee per pet. If damages are found, we reserve the right to charge more for any damages that are found upon check-out.

Check-In Time: Our check-in time is 3 pm. If you intend to arrive before 3 pm, please notify our office. We will make every effort to have your cabin available for you, but cannot guarantee its availability until 3 pm. If you plan on arriving after 7 pm, please notify us for late night check-in procedures.


Check-Out Time: Check-out time is 11 a.m. Due to staffing and the large demand for cabins, extending check-out times has become increasingly difficult. If possible, we will gladly accommodate late check-outs with pre-authorization and additional charges. Otherwise, we respectfully request that guests honor our check-out time to minimize hardship on the staff and the next guest arriving.


Damages: You are responsible for leaving your accommodation in the same condition (with normal usage) as it was found when you arrived. The registered guest will be held responsible for any and all damages found during and after your departure. Should we find any unusual damage after your departure, an itemized invoice will be sent and your credit card will be charged.
